What does ShareThis do with my contacts after I’ve imported them?

ShareThis uses your contacts to create a mashed up address book that is only saved once you register for ShareThis. You can register directly from within the widget or on our website at http://sharethis.com/register.

Once you have registered and imported your contacts you can use them from any ShareThis widget (Toolbar or publisher button) as long as you are logged into the ShareThis service. You can use these contacts for easy access to your friends from the “Send/Email” tab.

Your contacts are securely stored and are in no way sold or redistributed to anyone for any reason.
