From your Joomla 1.5 administration screen, select Extensions > Install/Uninstall

Extension Manager Window will open on a page; click "Browse" button and select your downloaded file for ShareThis Module (.zip version).

Click "Upload File & Install". You will get message which is displayed in image.

Select Extensions > Module Manager

Locate the "ShareThis" module in the list

To customize the ShareThis module, click the module name ("ShareThis") and choose options to enable the button (sample in image).

Next choose two parameters i.e. widget type, Publisher key and button style. ShareThis supports many layouts of how to display various buttons. These options are displayed (see image).

Go to resultant page or home page and check whether ShareThis widget appearing.

Go to your Joomla 1.5 Administration screen, then select Extensions > Install/Uninstall

Click "Upload File & Install", you will get message which is displayed in image.

Go to Extensions > Plugin Manager

Locate the "ShareThis" plugin in the list.

To customize the ShareThis plugin, click the plugin name ("ShareThis") and choose option to enable the plugin (see image from left panel)

Next choose button parameters for widget type, Publisher key, button style, widget alignment and widget position (see image from right panel)

Go to Content->Article Manager from menu options (below is an example of creating article. You may already have an article already in Joomla)

Click on ‘New' link present right side of page.

Article edit page will open (example image below). Complete entries for title, alias, Section, body content, Published, Front page. (Add required entries per image example)

Select creation date, publishing date and finished date; these options are present on right side of page and click ‘Save and Close' link.

Go to confirmation page or home page and check whether ShareThis widget appears.

From your Joomla! Administration screen, select Extensions > Extension Manager

Under "Upload Package File", select "Browse" and select the file you downloaded

Click "Upload File & Install"

Select Extensions > Module Manager

Locate the "ShareThis" module in the list and click "enabled" column to active the module

To customize the button, click the module name and set the options shown below; click "Save" when you are finished

Choose widget version, Publisher key and button style

After selecting all required parameters click on "Save and close" link.

Go to resulting page or home page and check whether ShareThis widget appears.

From your Joomla 1.6 administration screen, select Extensions > Extension Manager

Extension Manager Window will open on a page then click "Browse" button and select your downloaded file for ShareThis Plugin (.zip version).

Click "Upload File & Install". You will get a confirmation message as shown in side image.

Go to Extensions >Plugin Manager

Locate the "ShareThis" plugin in the list.

To customize the ShareThis plugin, click the plugin name ("ShareThis") and choose option to enable (see image from left panel).

Next choose widget style, widget position, widget alignment, Publisher key and button style (see example image from right panel )

Go to Content->Article Manager->Add New Article from menu options (see example in image)

Article edit page will open. Enter Title, Alias, Category, State, Features, and body content. (add required entries per illustration).

Select Creation date, Start publishing date and Finish Publishing date. When complete click ‘Save and Close'.

Go to resulting page or home page and check whether ShareThis appears.
